Our Process

Built for people with no time to spareand no tolerance for a story told carelessly.

Every engagement follows the same disciplined structure built over 16 years, designed to protect your time, your voice, and your control over the final work, from the first conversation to the finished book.

01
The Conversation

Before anything is signed, we talk. A confidential discussion by phone or in person to understand your story, why it matters now, and what you want the finished book to do for you, your family or your legacy. This is also where we determine fit. We do not take on every project. If we're not the right company for your story, we'll say so.

Time required One conversation, on your schedule.

02
The Studio is Assembled

Once we proceed, we build the specific team for your book a lead writer, editor and researcher matched to your subject, industry and voice. You are introduced to your team concierge directly, who manages your project team as they handle your story. A confidentiality agreement is executed before any material changes hands.

Time required None from you.

03
The Interviews

This is where your story becomes material. Structured conversations in person, by video, or by voice recording, whichever protects your time and comfort best form the raw content of the manuscript. We ask the questions; you simply talk. Sessions are scheduled around your calendar, and can be paused and resumed across weeks or months if your schedule demands it.

Time required Several structured sessions, scheduled entirely around you.

04
The Manuscript

Your assigned team drafts the manuscript in stages, not all at once. You review and approve at defined checkpoints. It is never a single, overwhelming draft delivered without warning, and never a rewrite from scratch because something was missed early. Your voice is the standard we write to. If a page doesn't sound like you, it gets rewritten until it does.

Time required Brief review sessions at each checkpoint.

05
Editorial Refinement

Before anything reaches you as "final," it passes through senior editors' review structure, clarity, accuracy and tone checked against the standard the book was commissioned to meet. Nothing reaches you as a first draft dressed up as a finished one.

Time required None from you.

06
Publishing

Cover design, formatting, printing and distribution are handled entirely at our studio, with your name as the only name that matters. Where relevant, we also manage introductions to traditional publishing houses on your behalf.

Time required Final approval only.

What you can expect throughout

  • · Limited access to your material at every stage. Nothing is shared, stored or discussed beyond what the current step of the project requires.
  • · You approve every major decision. You are asked for almost nothing in between.
  • · Every stage, checkpoint and deliverable is agreed upon before the work begins. Timelines and scope are set at the first conversation not renegotiated mid-project.

It starts with one conversation.

Ready when you are.
